Major part of Emad Basha was dedicated to exporting
safe agricultural products with unforgettable flavor
certified from international specialized entities. Being in
a country known for its agricultural wealth guaranteed the
distinguished taste Emad Basha sought, though Egypt
enjoys a small area of cultivable land, it's highly fertile.
Only 3% of arable land forms 15% of Egypt's GDP. Due to
water abundance, and different irrigation methods used,
Egypt is distinguished by the variety of agricultural
products produced. As for the safety, it is guaranteed by
applying good agricultural practices maintaining GLOBAL GAP
standards and procedures.
Emad Basha exports many of the Egyptian desired
products, such as strawberry, pomegranate, grapes, green
beans, garlic, spring onions, snow peas, artichoke,
capsicum, and hot pepper. Our work process starts with the
land and ends with the shelf. Each and every step of this
process is done under our supervision in accordance with ISO
specifications and European community regulations.
Our farms spread all over Egypt from the far south, Upper
Egypt, to the North, Lower Egypt. Following GLOBAL GAP
standards, Emad Basha's farms are equipped with
up-to-date tools, and provided with the best seeds, as well
as the proper fertilizers and pesticide programs. Our
technicians follow up on these farms to ensure safe
agricultural practice, and conduct a periodical analysis for
the land to control pesticide amount. Products are also
harvested under their supervision.
After harvest, products are transported to Emad Basha
warehouses where cooling systems are applied according to
the suitable temperature for the product, and the latest
selecting and packaging techniques are used to deliver a
product that is by no means different from the products of
the targeted markets. In this phase, the main purpose is to
sustain food safety and quality.
At the end, products are shipped to the airport or harbor
where they are re-checked to ensure customers receive a safe
high quality product that meets their requirements.
